In the era of EA College Football, the No. 16 Oklahoma State Cowboys game against the Arkansas Razorbacks would go down in history as the “Instant Classic.”

The Cowboys defeated the Razorbacks at home 39-31.

Fueled by an amazing second-half performance, the Cowboys and Razorbacks fought a thrilling battle in Stillwater, Oklahoma, that went into overtime with a score of 31-31.

The Razorbacks took a 14-0 lead in the first quarter thanks to a strong running attack. Ja'Quinden Jackson scored two touchdowns, both from five yards out.

Jackson scored three runs for the Hogs and was the leading runner with 138 yards, averaging more than six yards per run.

The Hogs’ defense was up to the task in the running game.

The Razorbacks held the Cowboys to 2.3 yards per carry and less than 59 yards on the ground.

Cowboys running back Ollie Gordon, who was competing for the Heisman Trophy, managed 49 yards on the ground and an average of 2.9 yards per carry.

Gordon scored the only touchdown in overtime that sealed the Cowboys' victory.

Taylen Green had an efficient first half, aside from a long pick-six by the Cowboys.

Green had early contact with wide receiver Andrew Armstrong. Armstrong caught 10 balls for 164 yards.

The Hogs kicked a field goal with two seconds left in the fourth quarter, tying the game at 31-31 and sending it into overtime.

In overtime, however, Kyle Ramsey missed a field goal that could have given them the lead. However, on the return play, Cowboys kicker Logan Ward missed one, so the game went into a second overtime.

Gordon took a pitch and ran it 12 yards in overtime, which was the deciding point for the Pokes.

The Hogs had a fourth down and one more and ran with the ball, which the Cowboys defense stopped behind the line of scrimmage, winning them the game 39-31.
