A Michigan couple is accused of killing a man who served as their best man at their wedding.

Flint police said their officers were called to an accident involving an injured pedestrian on August 30.

They identified the victim as 29-year-old Terry Lewis Taylor Jr., who suffered serious injuries and died at a local hospital.

An investigation revealed that Taylor was a best man at a wedding earlier in the day. He was involved in an argument that resulted in him being struck by a large SUV driven by the groom, 22-year-old James Shirah, police said.

Shirah was charged with first-degree murder. His bride, 21-year-old Savahna Collier, was charged with being an accessory to the crime.
