Colorado's Shedeur Sanders suffers a setback against Nebraska

Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders was hit in the head by Nebraska linebacker Mikai Gbayor with nine minutes left in the fourth quarter. The hit was clearly visible, but was confirmed by the referees after further review.

Sanders came back and threw a 5-yard touchdown pass to LaJohntay Wester three plays later. Colorado's first touchdown of the game beat Nebraska 28-10 late. The Buffs' “mature” QB struggled to find consistency in the rivalry game, passing for 244 yards and a pick-six at the goal line in the first quarter. That's a stark contrast from last week, when Sanders rushed for 445 yards and four touchdowns against North Dakota State.

Colorado is 5:39 away from ending its four-game winning streak in the series against Nebraska. The Buffs have not lost to the Huskers in over 6,000 days since they were both in the Big 12.
