ASU defense strikes again against Mississippi State

ASU's defense continues to shine early in the season and sets the tone for the Sun Devils. They just made a great play, scoring a touchdown after a fumble by Mississippi State quarterback Blake Shapen.

Shapen dropped the ball while being tackled by Clayton Smith, and CJ Fite recovered the ball and was able to stretch his arms across the end zone as he fell out of bounds, scoring the touchdown for the Sun Devils.

ASU's defense has now scored three times in its two games this season, scoring a touchdown on an interception return and a fumble recovery in last week's 48-7 win over Wyoming.

Talk about how to set the right tone in your team.

Score: ASU 20, Mississippi State 3 (8:23 remaining in second quarter)
