On Thursday, September 5, Noah Cyrus decided to channel her sister Miley Cyrus' iconic style with a comprehensive overhaul.

The 24-year-old singer and actress took the stage at So & So's Piano Bar in New York City and debuted a striking new look that was dramatically different from her usual dark hairstyle.

The new look was not only a nod to Miley, but also radiated serious Marilyn Monroe mood. Her glamour factor was enhanced by a smoky eye and nude lips.

Opting for an effortlessly chic ensemble, Noah wore a form-fitting strapless brown dress that showed off her arm tattoos. The dramatic style change left fans stunned and amazed.

Her new blonde hairstyle is striking and resembles her sister's iconic look at the 2024 Grammys. Her longtime hairdresser Bob Recine revealed People Magazine that they were aiming for a fresh approach, mixing the 70s Barbarella vibe with a modern punk touch.

“[We] “wanted to create [something] different from last year, with a style that felt like a '70s Barbarella feel but still had a modern punk twist,” said Recine. “By creating a look with a big hairstyle that left the backcombing partially visible, the look was able to maintain a fresh, sexy feel.”

When fans saw Noah's new look, they couldn't believe it was actually the 24-year-old and not Miley Cyrus.

“I thought it was Miley for a minute!!!!” commented one fan.

“Is that really Noah?? Not Miley??” said another.

A third pointed out the similarities between Noah and her mother. “She is definitely Tish's daughter, oh my gosh,” they said.

The gap between Tish Cyrus and Noah was born from Tish’s relationship with Dominic Purcell. It is said that Tish began dating Purcell despite knowing about his previous relationship with Noah, which caused tension between mother and daughter.

“The turmoil between Noah and Tish goes far beyond [what people think]. “Noah is very distraught because Tish took Dominic away from her,” a source claimed, claiming the situation has left Noah distraught and made her feel betrayed by her mother.

“Noah and Tish's relationship is still very strained, but it is improving. Noah texted Tish on May 15 for her birthday and Tish was happy to hear from her,” another source revealed, adding, “All this drama has taken a toll on Tish and she has been asking close friends for advice on how to patch things up.”

The alleged betrayal may have played a role in Noah's absence from Tish's second wedding to Purcell. According to another source, both Noah and her brother Braison were intentionally excluded from the ceremony.

Tish and Dominic Purcell married in August 2023, but Noah and her brother Braison were conspicuously absent from the wedding. Instead, the siblings took to social media to share photos of themselves at a local Walmart.

“When the whole situation with Tish and Dominic developed, Noah was extremely distraught,” the source added. “Even though Noah's relationship with Dominic wasn't extremely serious, it still felt like a betrayal in her eyes.”
