Stork comes to visit

Amid much excitement, Deepika gave birth to a healthy baby, starting a new chapter in her and Ranveer Singh’s life.

On Sunday, the couple and their family members were seen arriving at the hospital. As they were sitting in their curtained car, photographers were unable to take pictures. Their family members arrived shortly after.

The baby's arrival comes just days after the new parents were spotted seeking blessings at the Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai on Friday. In the video shared by a paparazzo, Deepika was seen wearing a traditional green sari and matching blouse. Her baby bump was visible as she visited the temple barefoot.

About pregnancy

In February of this year, the couple announced their pregnancy. The duo shared a joint post with the caption “September 2024” with cute images of baby clothes, baby shoes and balloons.

Deepika and Ranveer posted pictures from their pregnancy photoshoot in which she is seen happy with her baby bump and Ranveer by her side.

New chapter

Several reports suggest that the couple might start this new chapter of their life in a new house. It is believed that Deepika and Ranveer might move into their posh Bandra apartment, which is adjacent to superstar Shah Rukh Khan's bungalow Mannat. According to reports, the couple will move into the new residence, which will occupy floors 16 to 19 of the building and will also have a private terrace, once the building is completed.

About their love story

Deepika and Ranveer started dating on the sets of Goliyon Ki Rasleela: Ram-Leela in 2013 and kept their relationship a secret until they tied the knot with a wedding. They married in 2018 in the presence of their friends and family at Lake Como in Italy.

Work report

On the work front, Deepika is expected to return to work in 2025 and will dedicate the next few months to her newborn. “Her maternity leave will last until March next year. And after that, she will immediately get busy shooting for the sequel to Kalki along with Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Prabhas,” a source told News18. She will next be seen in Rohit Shetty's ensemble police drama Singham Again, which also stars Ranveer.

Meanwhile, Ranveer will also be seen in Aditya Dhar’s next action film and Farhan Akhtar’s much-awaited crime drama ‘Don 3’.
