The Cowboys enter the new season with high expectations despite the lackluster ending to the previous year. Despite winning another division title in the lackluster NFC East, they were sent home helpless after losing to the seventh-seeded Green Bay Packers in the Wild Card round. Even with players like Dak Prescott leading the offense, many wonder how long this core will last. There's no doubt that Dallas has what it takes to make the playoffs again, but how far they'll get is another story entirely.

On the other hand, the Browns will be hoping to find some consistency after another turbulent season. Their defense was their saving grace as they had many key injuries on offense in 2023. Their tactic of scoring few points seemed to work as they put up one of the best defenses in the NFL, resulting in an 11-6 record and securing their ticket to the playoffs by finishing second in the AFC North. However, Cleveland ran out of luck in the postseason as the team was beaten by the Houston Texans in the Wild Card round. If the Browns stay healthy this year in the pretty tough AFC North, they should still be in the race for the playoffs.

The Browns have an 18-14 record against the Cowboys, including the win the last time they met in 2020.

MY CHOICE: Browns win, 24-20
