With YouTube TV, you get almost all the channels you need for the 2024 NFL season, including Fox, NBC, ABC, CBS, ESPN, and NFL Network. Plus, YouTube TV is home to NFL Sunday Ticket this season! While the Sunday Ticket package is expensive on its own ($479.99/season), it gets you ALL Sunday games outside of your market (over 160 games per season).

If you bundle Sunday Ticket with YouTube TV, you can get both for $146.49/month for four months (that's $586 for the season). Now, you'll need to keep paying for YouTube TV to keep your access to the NFL Sunday Ticket package. Currently, you can get your first three months of YouTube TV for $52.99/month for the first four months. The cost then goes up to $72.99/month.

Another advantage of this option: YouTube is giving you four months Max with the “YouTube TV + NFL Sunday Ticket” package.

One thing to note, however, is that live streams on YouTube TV often run with a slight delay, which isn't great if you're trying to follow the live game down to the second.

Channel Master

If you don't already have access to local channels like CBS, Fox, and NBC, a TV antenna is a great and inexpensive way to catch some football games.

This flat TV antenna works just as well as traditional bunny ears and isn't designed to sit on top of your TV. Instead, you attach it to a wall or window using the included adhesive pads, with either the black or white side facing in, whichever better suits your decor.

The aptly named Flatenna is truly flat as a piece of paper. You simply screw one end of the 12-foot cable into the bottom and the other end into your TV's coaxial input. (Yes, that means an ugly cable running along your wall; consider a cable duct kit like this one to hide it.)

Channel Master promises a range of up to 35 miles, but of course this depends on various factors. As mentioned above, optimal placement – as high and unobstructed as possible – is crucial.

The big news here is the price: At just $29, the Flatenna is quite affordable and a great way to start your antenna journey—assuming you're happy with a black or white rectangle on your wall or window.

Many NFL preseason games are broadcast on local channels, so if you want to watch a game in your target market, you may just need to turn on your TV (or set up a digital TV antenna) or find a live TV streaming service that carries the right RSN (Regional Sports Network). If you want to watch games outside your target market, a $5 monthly subscription to NFL+ lets you watch every local and primetime game outside your target market of the season (and preseason) on your phone—but only a select few games on your TV. You can also snag the super-expensive NFL Sunday Ticket package to watch all Sunday games outside your target market of the season.

When it comes to nationally televised games, NFL games are typically broadcast on ESPN, NBC, CBS, Fox, ABC and NFL Network. Thursday Night Football games are streamed exclusively on Amazon Prime Video, select football games are streamed exclusively on Peacock, games on CBS are streamed live on Paramount+ with SHOWTIME, and select games are streaming on ESPN+ this season. That's six channels and four streaming platforms to keep up with this season — and that's not counting your local RSNs for games in your market and an NFL+ or NFL Sunday Ticket subscription for games outside your market. Plus, Netflix is the new exclusive place to watch NFL games on Christmas Day this year.

Overwhelmed? You're not alone. Here are all the platforms available ahead of the 2024 NFL season, so when game time rolls around, you can easily watch your favorite team's games by simply turning on the TV….
