QB Will Levis “ready for the moment” after productive offseason

Tennessee was in poor shape on offense last season and sent Levis in. The rookie handled the situation better than most expected, culminating in a comeback win over the Miami Dolphins in Florida.

Now the Titans have upgraded their offensive line, added Tyler Boyd and Calvin Ridley to their receivers and replaced franchise legend Derrick Henry with Tony Pollard. With an offseason full of work under his belt, Levis feels he will surprise the NFL world on an even bigger scale in 2024.

“I think it's just because of the video that I took and being able to watch myself throughout camp and improve in the areas that I talked about before,” Levis said. “It gave me confidence to go out there and do it on Sundays. With all the reps I've done the last few weeks, all the mental reps I've done and the learning that I've done, I just feel ready and excited to show it.”

Thanks to the rise of the Houston Texans, the durability of the Indianapolis Colts, and the existence of the Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee enters 2024 in a suddenly challenging division. Their expectations remain low, but after a busy offseason, they enter the new season with more optimism than they did a year ago.

It will be up to Levis and Callahan to make good on their word, starting Sunday afternoon against the Chicago Bears.
