NFL show has no confidence Detroit Lions will beat Rams in Week 1

The NFL Network's GameDay Morning team doesn't have a good feeling about the Detroit Lions in their Week 1 opener against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday Night Football.

Among them was Steve Mariucci, the former Lions coach and Upper Peninsula native of Iron Mountain.

Nor were longtime “GameDay” host Rich Eisen (a Michigan alumnus), colorful analyst Kyle Brandt or analyst Gerald McCoy, a six-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle in the last decade. The Lions' only pick came from Hall of Famer quarterback Kurt Warner, who helped the Rams to two Super Bowl appearances, including the 1999 championship.
