Aryna Sabalenka's iconic TikTok video celebrating her US Open victory

After the defeat in the 2023 final against Coco Gauff, Aryna Sabalenka finally won her first US Open and her third Grand Slam titles. The Belarusian player defeated Jessica Pegula (7-5, 7-5) on Saturday, and she wasted no time celebrating her victory on social media.

As is tradition, Sabalenka released a TikTok video with her new US Open Trophy. “I don’t want to make it a competition… But I win.” She moves her lips together before “Princess Diana” by Nicki Minaj plays.

“Is this real life?” she captioned the clip. Just like Gauff, Sabalenka is one of the most active players on the social media platform. The Belarusian has a good fan base on TikTok (386,000 followers) and 3.8 million likes.

Besides celebrating on social media, Sabalenka also attended the Off-White fashion show for New York Fashion Week. She sat next to other celebrities such as Zayn Malik, Paris Jackson, Alessandra Ambrosio and more.

After the US Open, the next big tournament Sabalenka will play is the WTA finals, which will take place in Saudi Arabia from November 2 to 9. It would be her fourth consecutive singles appearance at the WTA Finals.

Sabalenka conquered the rare double of the Australian Open and the US Open

After her victory at the US Open, Sabalenka was named eighth woman in the Open Era who won both the Australian Open and the US Open in the same year, and only the fifth to do so, as both tournaments were held on Hard courts.
