Puka Nacua and Steve Avila leave Lions game with knee injuries; Joe Noteboom suffers ankle injury

DETROIT – Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua left Sunday night's game against the Lions at Ford Field because of a knee injury.

Nacua sustained the injury in the first half and was initially questionable about his return to action. After being evaluated in the medical tent, he made a few short sprints on the sideline under the supervision of Los Angeles' medical staff. He briefly re-entered the game before returning to the Rams' sideline, where he sat on the team bench and spoke with medical staff. He was later escorted back to the locker room.

Nacua recorded four pass catches for 35 yards before leaving the field due to injury.

In addition to Nacua, offensive linemen Steve Avila (knee) and Joe Noteboom (ankle) also had to leave the game early on Sunday evening due to injuries.

Rams head coach Sean McVay said after the game he had no update on the injuries of those three players.
