New York Giants fans let their team hear this on Sunday after a 28-6 loss to the Minnesota Vikings.

New York managed 240 yards on 11 drives and had possession for just over 32 minutes. The offense managed just 3.5 yards per play and lost the ball twice.

The team really heard it when Daniel Jones threw a brutal pick six to Vikings linebacker Andrew Van Ginkel on what looked like a simple screen play. Jones looked directly to his right and stared down his receiver just long enough for Van Ginkel to make the play.

Jones heard it from the crowd during and after the game.

Videos posted on X showed fans waiting at the players' exit. As Jones left the exit, he was booed. One fan called him “Danny Pennies” to mock his nickname “Danny Dimes.” Other fans were seen burning his jersey in the MetLife Stadium parking lot.

Jones threw 22 of 42 passes for 186 yards and five sacks. It was his first game since his season-ending knee injury last year. He hasn't thrown a touchdown since September 17, 2023.

“Obviously not good enough,” Jones said of his performance after the loss. “Didn't make it into the end zone, scored six points. Didn't build up much rhythm and flow for ourselves.”

“I have to get better, definitely play better, give myself more chances to make plays and implement them more consistently.”

Giants defensive lineman Dexter Lawrence was unhappy with the fans' reaction.

“I honestly don't respect it,” Lawrence said of the boos on SNY TV. “I understand they want their team to win. It's just a rough patch. It is what it is.”
