Crime series directed by Donnie Wahlberg returns to ID

Investigation Discovery (ID) has given the green light for a new season of the true crime documentary series Very scary peoplehosted and executive produced by Donnie Wahlberg.

Production on the upcoming eight-episode season is set to begin this week. The season will include stories about Scott Kimball, a serial killer who acted as an FBI informant; Clarence Heatley, a drug lord who ran a drug trafficking operation; and David Matusiewicz, who plotted to kidnap his own children.

“I can’t wait to get started and start filming the next season of Very scary people“, said Wahlberg. “These stories will leave true crime fans stunned as we reveal the heinous crimes and minds of terrifying killers we have never thought of before.”
