Two people arrested in drug raid in Manitowoc

Late last week, two people were arrested in a drug raid in Manitowoc.

An anonymous tip was received by Manitowoc Police reporting drug use at a home in the 800 block of North 15th.th Street.

A search warrant was issued and on the morning of September 6, three people were found in the house.th.

Officers interviewed the homeowner, a 32-year-old woman, who told police that the other two people had moved in a week earlier.

She admitted that she knew about methamphetamine use in her home, but that she was not aware of any drugs in the apartment at the time.

A 32-year-old man told investigators that the homeowner had bought drugs for the three of them to use and gave them a travel bag containing numerous drug paraphernalia.

A bag containing a suspected meth mixture was found in the living room of the house, along with a jar of marijuana and numerous drug paraphernalia.

The homeowner was charged with possession of a drug house, possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, and one count of evading bail, while the man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and four counts of evading bail.
