After trips to France, St. Louis and China, Celtics star Jayson Tatum is back home and preparing for the upcoming season.

His last stop was Boston College, where he trained and met with the women's basketball team on Saturday mornings.

“There was a champion here today,” tweeted the Boston College women's basketball team. “Good to see you, @jaytatum0!”

Assistant coach DeNesha Stallworth expressed her appreciation, tweeting, “Thank you @jaytatum0 for being kind to our players! It's a great day to be an Eagle.”

Tatum shared the team's tweet and added the fingers crossed emoji twice.

The defending champion Celtics will open their training camp on Friday, September 27th.

Boston College, coming off a 14-19 season, will play its first game on Monday, November 4.
