Newsmax presenter Lidia Curanaj makes surprising political confession and apologizes

Newsmax host Lidia Curanaj admitted to her right-leaning audience on Sunday that she once voted for former President Barack Obama and said she was “sorry.” (Watch the video below.)

The surprising confession came to light in a conversation with former Republican candidate Larry Elder. Curanaj accused Democratic candidate Kamala Harris of political reversals and even deception.

“It's not about-faces. It's not like JD Vance changing his mind about President Trump,” Curanaj said. “I've even changed my mind about President Trump.”

“I'm going to scare people a little bit,” she added ominously. “One of the first times I voted, I voted for Barack Obama.”

She immediately apologized.

“I clearly did not vote for him the second time around,” she said of the two-term Democrat. “I was young and impressionable. I didn't know any better. I'm sorry, folks.”

Curanaj laughed awkwardly with Elder, who later described Harris as a “Marxist through and through.”
