Gameplay of the canceled Call of Duty game “Future Warfare” leaked online at “NX1”

Gameplay footage of Call of Duty: Future Warfare, internally called NX1, has leaked online.

NX1 was developed by Neversoft around 2010, after Infinity Ward had undergone a major restructuring of the studio following the departure of Jason West and Vince Zempalla. Neversoft finished developing Guitar Hero and began work on NX1, which was to be titled “Call of Duty: Future Warfare”.

Now, almost 15 years after its development and eventual cancellation, tons of gameplay footage of the game is surfacing online. According to those who were able to download and play the game, it features an almost fully completed campaign. Of course, the game was still in the early stages of development, but the gameplay footage is fascinating to watch. Below you can see various clips and gameplay footage we found:
