Oshkosh man convicted of illegal possession of weapons during bar crawl

OSHKOSH – A 21-year-old Oshkosh man was sentenced to prison for illegal possession of a firearm after shots were fired near an unauthorized “pub crawl” event near UW Oshkosh.

Brown was already on probation for a theft conviction and is currently facing criminal charges for jumping bail and possession of illegal substances, including methamphetamine.

According to court records, Brown was arrested on April 13 after police responded to an incident in which multiple shots were fired in the area between Scott Avenue and Wright Street.
