67-year-old Jeffrey Smith was arrested and charged with sexual assault. According to the warrant, Smith was accused of approaching a man at Walmart and “touching the victim through his clothing.”

After fleeing the scene, Smith was arrested in the woods behind a Sheetz gas station, according to the warrant. Smith was booked into the Alamance County Detention Center.
