The 2024 MTV Video Music Awards will take place in just a few hours.

The awards show, which begins at 8 p.m. ET on Wednesday night, will air live on MTV, MTV2, BET, BET Her, CMT, CC, Logo, Nickelodeon, Paramount Network, TV Land and VH1, but cable-less viewers can also catch the music-packed night on a number of live TV streamers including DirecTV, Sling TV, Fubo TV and Hulu + Live TV.

The best way to stream the 2024 VMAs live online is on DirecTV, which is currently offering a free trial.

Megan Thee Stallion will host the ceremony for the first time this year, which will take place at New York's UBS Arena. The pre-show, hosted by Nessa, Dometi Pongo and Kevan Kenney, begins at 6:30 p.m. ET and includes a performance by South Korean girl group Le Sserafim.

In addition to her hosting role, the rapper will also perform during the ceremony, where she will receive five awards for her album of the same name, released in June. Her nominations include best collaboration for “Wanna Be” and best hip hop, best direction, best visual effects and best art direction for “Boa.”

But the question on everyone's mind: Will Taylor Swift attend the 2024 VMAs? The singer most likely won't perform or speak at this year's ceremony, but it's likely she'll be there to celebrate her top 10 nominations. That also means a likely appearance from Travis Kelce.

Swift will compete against “Texas Hold 'Em” by Beyoncé, “Lovin On Me” by Jack Harlow, “Not Like Us” by Kendrick Lamar, “Espresso” by Sabrina Carpenter and “Lose Control” by Teddy Swims.

Contenders for the title of Artist of the Year include Ariana Grande, Bad Bunny, Eminem, Sabrina Carpenter, SZA and Swift.
