Police in Wichita search for kidnapped child

An Amber Alert has been issued for a kidnapped child from Wichita, Kansas. Wichita police are searching for Trevawn Strong Jr., 5, who was abducted by his father, Trevawn Strong Sr., during a domestic incident on Sept. 11. The abduction occurred at 4:56 p.m. at their home at 2025 S. Grove, where police say the father used a knife and a firearm. The suspect's vehicle was found in the 1900 block of N. Woodlawn. Authorities are asking anyone with information to call 911 or 316-383-4661. Police say the child is in danger and the father has threatened to kill her.

The kidnapping occurred at 4:56 p.m. at their residence at 2025 S. Grove. According to police, the father used a knife and a firearm.
