They posted, “ OPPORTUNISTS have attempted to politicise the R G Kar tragedy for political leverage. BJP leader Pamela Goswami, who has a drug arrest record, was caught at junior doctors’ protest at Swasthya Bhavan.”

Kolkata rape-murder case live updates: Sandip Ghosh, former principal of RG Kar Medical College, has been sent judicial custody until September 23 by a CBI court.

Ghosh is facing charges related to financial irregularities during his tenure at the RG Kar medical college and hospital.

The court also sent Ghosh’s security personnel Afsar Ali and two alleged associates, contractors Vendors Biplab Sinha and Suman Hazra, to judicial custody till September 23.

ED officials are conducting a search operation at the house where some of the rooms were locked. Sandip Ghosh has been sent to judicial custody after a CBI investigation implicated him in a case of financial irregularities.
