A brand new Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse will open at LAX in 2025

Virgin Atlantic has pictures of a chic new clubhouse Lounge that opens its doors to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) Next year.

“We are excited to bring our award-winning Clubhouse to the vibrant entertainment capital [of] “We know that business and leisure travelers alike will benefit from our experience before they fly across the pond,” said Corneel Koster, Chief Customer and Operating Officer at Virgin.

Here's what we know so far.

The lounge, planned for Opening in early 2025will be the sixth in the airline’s global lounge network and the fourth Clubhouse location in the US, joining existing lounges in New York (JFK), San Francisco (SFO) and Washington, DC (IAD).

The chic new space is located near the Virgin departure gates in the Tom Bradley International Terminal at LAX.

As you'd expect from a Virgin Clubhouse, a large bar serves as the focal point of the main lounge area – perfect for socialising while sipping a pre-flight beverage like the airline's signature 'Virgin Redhead'.

Virgin likes to stand out from the rest of the crowd. The new Clubhouse is certainly a good example of this and offers outstanding features such as Eating at the table (a rare sight in business class lounges these days) and an exclusive VIP cabin called “The Royal Box”.

Otherwise, this new lounge has all the amenities you would expect from a modern airline lounge, including a variety of comfortable seating areas, Showerand the possibility of wireless charging.

“Our newest clubhouse will have something special for every customer, from signature specialties to British designer decorations, plus a few fun surprises you would only expect from Virgin Atlantic. And we know our amazing teams will bring the experience to life brilliantly,” said Koster.

Since there are no windows visible in the renderings, we will have to wait and see whether the lounge will offer the important apron views that Virgin offers so well from the outdoor observation deck of its clubhouse at London Heathrow Airport.

The following passengers have access to the new lounge:

  • Upper Class (Business Class) passengers + 1 guest travelling with Virgin or Delta
  • Virgin Flying Club Gold Card members + 1 guest flying internationally with Virgin or Delta
  • Delta One passengers flying internationally with Delta
  • SkyTeam Elite Plus members flying on Virgin or Delta + 1 guest traveling internationally on a SkyTeam airline
