Man charged with road rage incident involving firearm: East Hampton Police

EAST HAMPTON, CT — Police say an East Hampton man was recently arrested in connection with a road rage incident involving a weapon.

According to police, the incident occurred at the intersection of Main Street and Colchester Avenue (Route 16).

Patrick Barber, 66, was arrested on September 1 and charged with second-degree disturbing the peace, third-degree assault, first-degree reckless endangerment and first-degree menacing with a firearm.

Barber was released on $50,000 bail with a court date of Oct. 11, state court records show.
