Lewis County woman was allegedly on meth at the time of the accident

TOWN OF GREIG, N.Y. (WWNY) – A Lewis County woman is accused of being under the influence of meth when she crashed the SUV she was driving, injuring herself and three passengers.

The Sheriff's Office arrested 28-year-old Megan Miller of Glenfield on Thursday.

According to officials, Miller was driving on Partridgeville Road in the town of Greig on the morning of July 18 when her SUV left the road and overturned.

There were three passengers in the vehicle, including two children under the age of 16.

All were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Officials said Miller showed signs of impairment at the scene of the accident. They said blood tests showed she was under the influence of amphetamine and methamphetamine.

Miller was charged with:

  • second degree reckless endangerment
  • two cases of endangering the welfare of a child
  • criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree
  • serious drunk driving with a child in the car
  • third degree serious driving without a license
  • reckless driving
  • Failure to retain the right
  • Speed ​​not appropriate and prudent

Miller was tried and released.
