“MISSING: SLIM SHADY. Have you seen him? #TheDeathOfSlimShady. The Expanded Mourner's Edition is out this Friday the 13th,” Eminem captioned the trailer for the Deluxe Edition earlier this week.

The spooky clip didn't provide much background on the project, but the Alchemist plays a gas station clerk in it, so he could be working with Em behind the scenes.

25 years after his MTV Video Music Awards debut, Eminem was able to add another VMA moment to his singing and singing reputation as he opened the show in style on Wednesday night (September 11).

He got the crowd at the UBS Arena going with his 2024 hit “Houdini,” which saw him flood the aisles with a troupe of Slim Shady clones, blonde wigs and all. Em ditched the blonde mane and teamed up with Jelly Roll for their emotional collaboration “Somebody Save Me.”

The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grace) was released in July and debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 with 281,000 album units earned in the U.S. for the week ending July 18, according to Luminate.
