Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa suffers concussion in TNF game against Bills

Tua Tagovailoa's bad night took an even worse turn when the Miami Dolphins quarterback left the game with a concussion in the third quarter of his team's 31-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills on Thursday night.

On a fourth-and-4 play at Buffalo's 13-yard line, Tagovailoa ran up the middle for a first down. The Dolphins quarterback dove headfirst in front of the first-down marker, but was hit by Bills safety Damar Hamlin. It appeared Tagovailoa struck Hamlin's body with his head during the tackle.

Tagovailoa remained on the turf for a few moments. Eventually, he was escorted off the field by the Dolphins' medical staff and into the locker room. Backup quarterback Skylar Thompson replaced Tagovailoa with 4:24 left in the third quarter, when Miami was trailing 31-10.
