Menifee pastor charged with sexually abusing several young girls at his former Ontario home

ONTARIO, Calif. (KABC) — Police are searching for more possible victims after a pastor was arrested last week for allegedly sexually abusing several girls in his former Ontario home.

Jose Alcides Vasquez, 47, was arrested at his Menifee home and booked into the West Valley Detention Center on several related offenses.

Ontario police said in August 2021 that a high school administrator told a school security officer that a student claimed her neighbor had sexually assaulted her.

Last July, another alleged victim came forward and investigators were able to secure further evidence that led to Vasquez's arrest.

According to police, Vasquez was active in various churches in the Inland Empire, working as a pastor and volunteer until his arrest. He most recently served as senior pastor of Camino De Santidad Church in Menifee.
