Palmrya man arrested for gun possession, tampering – Finger Lakes Daily News

The investigation into a domestic dispute in Wayne County Wednesday afternoon led to the arrest of a Palmyra man.

It is alleged that 28-year-old Christopher Kendrick-Negron became physically violent towards the protected party of a protective order, prompting the victim to call 911. During the investigation, Kendrick-Negron was allegedly found to be in possession of two firearms, another violation of his protective order. The Wayne County Sheriff's Office reports that when Kendrick-Negron was questioned about the incident, he allegedly signed a false statement to officers. It is also alleged that the 28-year-old further tampered with evidence by attempting to hide a bag of 30-round magazines behind his home while officers were investigating.

Kendrick-Negron was charged with illegal possession of a firearm, tampering with evidence, criminal contempt, harassment, illegal possession of certain ammunition feeding devices and three counts of criminal contempt.

The fact that a defendant is accused of a crime constitutes merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
