Donald Trump will hold a press conference in Rancho Palos Verdes on Friday

RANCHO PALOS VERDES (CNS) — Fresh from his debate with Democratic candidate Kamala Harris, former President Donald Trump was scheduled to hold a press conference in Rancho Palos Verdes on Friday after attending a fundraiser in the Beverly Hills area on Thursday night.

According to an online post by the Trump 47 Committee, Trump will attend an “evening reception” on Thursday. The exact location and time were not given.

The minimum cost to attend the event was $3,300, with preferred seating available for $7,500, while $50,000 included a photo shoot and attendance at a reception.

A ticket valued at $125,000 made the attendee a co-host of the event and included a panel discussion with Trump, as well as a photo opportunity and reception. Membership on the host committee cost $250,000.

Trump spent Thursday in Arizona and attended an early afternoon rally in Tucson.

Newsom declares state of emergency after numerous power outages in Rancho Palos Verdes

Shortly after hundreds of homes in Rancho Palos Verdes lost power, Governor Gavin Newsom declared a state of emergency in the city.

On Friday, he is scheduled to hold a press conference at 9 a.m. at the Trump National Golf Course in Rancho Palos Verdes and then head to Woodside in Northern California for another fundraiser.

Trump was last in Southern California in June, when he attended a sold-out lunchtime event in Newport Beach and an evening event in Beverly Hills.

This visit was Trump's first to Southern California since September 29 and 30, when he spoke at the California Republican Party fall convention in Anaheim and a fundraiser in Costa Mesa and visited the Carvel ice cream parlor in Westwood.

Rancho Palos Verdes is in the midst of a serious crisis: dozens of houses are threatened with destruction due to ongoing land movements.

The Torrance Daily Breeze reported that several residents organized a rally near the golf course on Friday morning, with people wearing white T-shirts and holding signs that read “Save Our Homes.”
