Three people arrested in drug and weapons raid in Greenville

Three people were arrested following the execution of a search warrant at a clothing store in Greenville.

Hudson County District Attorney Esther Suarez said her office's Gang Task Force seized more than 900 grams of cocaine, four pounds of marijuana, various narcotics and two handguns Wednesday as part of an investigation into a drug-trafficking operation at the King George Clothing and Accessory Store at 426 Ocean Avenue. Authorities received a tip that narcotics were allegedly being sold at the store.

Jamaal George, 47, of Newark, and Katrina Bullock, 41, of Jersey City, were charged with drug offenses, including charges related to drug activity within 1,000 feet of a school and weapons-related charges.

A 35-year-old Jersey City woman who was in the store at the time of the search was charged with illegal possession of marijuana. She was released on a summons.

Additional charges have been filed against Jamaal George in Essex County after court-ordered searches in Newark yielded a second handgun and narcotics.
