Two people arrested in drug raid in Storey County | Local news

Two Lockwood residents are in custody Thursday after the Storey County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant and found drugs and weapons.

April Garrison and Raymond Gamboa, both of Lockwood, were arrested and charged with several counts.

On Thursday, September 12, the Sheriff's Office searched a home at 307 Ave De La Coulers in Lockwood.

During a search of the house, officers found methamphetamine and MDMA (ecstasy), over five pounds of marijuana, packaging material, digital scales, two shotguns (one of which was shortened), and drug paraphernalia.

Garrison was charged with possession of a controlled substance for sale, operating a place of sale of controlled substances, possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance and possession of a short-barreled shotgun, all felonies. She was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.

Gamboa was charged with illegal possession of a firearm and a short-barreled shotgun (felonies) and possession of drug paraphernalia (misdemeanor).
