UFC 306: Sean O'Malley and Merab Dvalishvili face off in final duel before Sphere headliner

.

LAS VEGAS – Sean O'Malley and Merab Dvalishvili had their final pre-fight interaction with one final stare down at the UFC 306 ceremonial weigh-in on Friday.

O'Malley (18-1 MMA, 10-1 UFC) will put his bantamweight belt on the line against Dvalishvili (17-4 MMA, 10-2 UFC) in the main event of Noche UFC (pay-per-view, ESPNews, ESPN+) at The Sphere. UFC CEO Dana White has touted it as a unique fight card that will air on ESPN+ pay-per-view following preliminary fights on ESPNews and ESPN+.

After both made weight the day before, they battled it out in front of fans and media for a final fight. It was intense and both men were fully engaged. O'Malley is hoping to make a second consecutive title defense, while Dvalishvili is looking to take gold and set the UFC record for the longest winning streak in the history of the 135-pound division.
