Lily Collins made the exposed bra trend very chic for the EIP event

The outfits are becoming more and more daring on Emily in Paris. Between Sylvie baring her bosom under a see-through LBD and Mindy becoming a burlesque dancer, season 4 of the Netflix hit is the boldest yet, turning the cast into proven style stars. While Emily herself is still demure in real life (albeit in a brazen, maximalist way), it's Lily Collins who would fit the new season's style perfectly. Exhibit A: her latest daring “outfit.”

At the Paris photocall for Season 4, Part 2, Collins looked very chic in an all-black outfit that showed off her lingerie. No offense, but Emily could never do that.

Lily's pearl masterpiece

After weeks of anticipation for the second half of the fourth season, the episodes finally hit the streaming platform on September 12th. Of course, the cast met in Paris to celebrate the launch. The star of the hit series stole the show – even in all black.

She wore a decadent beaded net dress that was completely see-through—it was more jewelry than dress. The decadent piece also featured long fringe that reached down to her knees, giving the actress a 1920s flapper look. What she wore underneath rivaled the outside. She showed off her lingerie, including a tiny black bra and matching (extra high-waisted) granny panties. The entire outfit is by Dior, a fitting French choice.

She completed her look with an inky black blazer and pointy pumps. Between lingerie and black, the look couldn't be more different than what Collins' conservative marketing alter-ego would wear on the show. She would probably never be spotted wearing black or anything light. And that's why Collins is chic and Emily is (charmingly) ringarde.

Ashley Park, who plays Mindy, singer and best friend of Emily, also wore a look completely unlike her on-screen counterpart. Mindy also constantly looks over-the-top, but the actress toned it down with a black velvet dress with a white bow.

She accessorized with pointed pumps (like Collins) and a crystal-studded perfume-shaped joke bag.
