Three people arrested after altercation in Elizabethtown

ELIZABETHTOWN, NC (WECT) – Three people were arrested in the area of ​​Bel Court Lane near Peanut Plant Road on September 4 when police responded to a shooting call.

Officers arrived and deescalated an argument between two women and a man.

“Two women were arrested for simple assault and officers left the scene. A short time later, a call came in regarding a car accident in the area of ​​Peanut Plant Road near Happy Valley. The anonymous caller advised that the person in the vehicle may have been involved in the Bel Court incident. Officers arrived at the scene and encountered James P. Scott. During the investigation, Scott attempted to flee the scene on foot and was quickly apprehended. A firearm was found on Scott,” the BCSO wrote in a press release.

Scott, 28, of Dudley, NC, was charged with possession of a weapon as a felon/resisting an officer/concealed possession of a weapon. He is being held on $250,000 bail.

Tiffany Sheena Glassman, 40, of Rowland, North Carolina, was charged with simple assault.

Kaylon Meyell Davis, 33, of Elizabethtown was charged with simple assault.
