Passenger killed, two seriously injured in Woodbridge accident | Headlines

A 23-year-old Alexandria man was killed and two others injured in a head-on collision on Caton Hill Road in Woodbridge Friday morning.

The crash occurred at 6:07 a.m. near the intersection of Killarney Drive when the driver of a 2017 Toyota Camry, a 21-year-old Springfield woman, was traveling north in the southbound lane and collided head-on with a southbound 2015 Toyota Corolla, police said.

The driver and passenger in the Camry were not wearing seat belts, Prince William County police Lt. Jonathan Perok said. The passenger, identified as Elvis Gabriel Alvarez, was taken to an area hospital where he later died, Perok said.

The driver of the Camry and the driver of the Corolla, a 67-year-old woman from Woodbridge, were also taken to area hospitals with serious injuries.

Accident investigators are asking anyone who observed this accident or the driving behavior of the driver of the black four-door Toyota Camry (model year 2017) involved in the collision to contact the police.
