Canelo vs. Berlanga results, live stream, PPV time, main event, full fight card

Saul “Canelo” Alvarez will face Edgar Berlanga on September 14th live on PPV on Prime Video from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The pair will compete in the main event that headlines the four fights with three titles on the line that night, with the Mexican world champion taking on the undefeated Puerto Rican challenger from Brooklyn, NY.

The championship fight is scheduled for 12 rounds. At stake are Canelo's (61-2-2, 39 KOs) unified WBC, WBO and WBA super middleweight belts. Berlanga (22-0, 17 KOs) is making his first attempt at becoming champion. The IBF middleweight belt (168 lbs), previously held by former undisputed champion Alvarez, is now up for grabs on October 19 in Germany, where William Scull will face Vladimir Shishkin.

In the 12-round fight, Erislandy Lara (30-3-3, 18 KOs) will face Danny “Swift” Garcia (37-3, 21 KOs). The Cuban two-weight world champion Lara will defend his WBA middleweight title for the third time. The two-weight world champion Garcia from Philadelphia will make his debut in the 160-pound class.

In the undercard of the Canelo vs. Berlanga PPV, former Nashville champion Caleb Plant (22-2, 13 KOs) will face undefeated challenger Trevor McCumby (28-0, 21 KOs) of Yorkville, Illinois. The match is scheduled for 12 rounds and is for the interim WBA super middleweight title.

The first fight will be between former champion Rolando Romero (15-2, 13 KOs) in front of his home crowd against Manuel Jaimes (16-1-1, 11 KOs) from San Jose, California. The fight is scheduled for 10 rounds in the super lightweight division.
