Start 'Em, Sit 'Em: Is Isaiah likely to return to Earth in Week 2?

Yahoo fantasy analyst Tera Roberts makes her sit-start decisions for Week 2 when it comes to a trio of borderline flex options.

Video transcript

I'm Tara Roberts for Yahoo Fantasy with Stardom.

Sit the second week.

I have three border players for you.

We start with the man of the hour.

If you're wondering if we're likely to trust Isaiah again in Week 2 and use him ahead of other tight ends, it's probably Isaiah.

Yes.

Yes, you definitely can.

I would probably rather use Isaiah over tight ends like Pat Frim Young and Dallas Goddard.

While we shouldn't expect another 20+ point performance from him, we can trust that the Ravens view him as a constant in their offense and that he will continue to get his chance.

JK Dobbins immediately thrust himself into the lead back role in Week 1, but you can't underestimate the value Gus Edwards brings here in a good matchup, and this is a great matchup against the Carolina Panthers.

It's very unlikely that Dobbins will be used extremely often, and Edwards should still get in the 10-15 touches range, which is enough to produce volume and good numbers against the Carolina Panthers, where running backs are dropping like flies everywhere.

If you need a backup player, Edwards could be your man. Christian Kirk's performance in Week 1 was a major disappointment, but do we trust him to bounce back in Week 2?

Unfortunately, for me, Kirk is on the bench this week. Brian Thomas was a starter for me last week and managed four pass catches for 47 yards and a touchdown.

Kirk, on the other hand, only had one reception of over 30 yards.

We shouldn't write him off completely and put him on waivers, but it's difficult to start him in week two.
