Elderly woman accused of stealing from Bucks County store – NBC10 Philadelphia

Shop owners and police in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, are desperately trying to find a woman they say is a serial thief.

Last Friday, Pat Cozzi was standing behind the counter at the C. Ferry Home in Dolyestown when she saw an elderly woman with white hair stuff a Turkish pillowcase into her bag. The surveillance video is proof of that.

Patty White, the owner of another store, Paper Unicorn, also saw the same elderly woman stealing from shelves in her store on Friday. In this case, the woman was shopping in the store with another woman.

“I think she said the woman with her was her daughter,” White said.

Shop owners claim both women went to several stores throughout the city.

“Theft is a big problem for our business, it happens on a regular basis. We are all small businesses, it has been a tough year and we just cannot tolerate it any longer,” said White.

If you recognise the woman and the other person she was with during the theft in the photos above, you are urged to contact police.
