WWE SmackDown is back on USA Network for the first time since 2019. SmackDown joins its sister brand WWE Raw on the network before the red brand moves to Netflix next year.

SmackDown ended its five-year run on Fox last Friday ahead of the “season premiere” on USA Network. The blue brand will cap off the move with a massive steel cage match. Cody Rhodes will defend the undisputed WWE title against Solo Sikoa inside the steel structure.

WWE and USA Network struck a deal last September to bring SmackDown back to the channel. According to Variety, the deal between WWE and USA Network is reportedly worth around $1.4 billion, more than the $1 billion Fox paid in 2019. WWE will also produce four primetime specials for NBC each year, the first time WWE will air in primetime on the network.

The return of SmackDown means that USA Network, which has aired Raw intermittently since its premiere in 1993, will remain in the professional wrestling business. WWE signed a contract last January Bring Raw to the streaming service Netflix in January 2025.

Check out all the information you need before tonight's SmackDown season premiere.
