David Whitten, 82, of Franklin Park, was arrested at his home Friday evening.

He was identified as the person who, according to witnesses, exposed himself and committed lewd acts near the intersection of Beaver and Chestnut Streets around 4 p.m. on Wednesday.

Whitten is charged with corruption of minors, public lewdness and two counts of public nuisance.

He was taken to the Allegheny County Jail to await arraignment.
