Michael Chandler and Conor McGregor look ugly after fight cancellation

Michael Chandler Comparisons Conor McGregor has been cancelled for the time being. Chandler will instead face Charles Oliveira in the co-main event of . UFC 309 on November 17. However, this did not end the hostilities between McGregor and Chandler.

Shortly after it was announced that McGregor would not be Chandler’s next opponent, “The Notorious” took the opportunity to denigrate his previously scheduled opponent on X.

“Chandler saw the takedown blocked and mangled and officially called off,” McGregor said, referring to his Training material from September 12th. “Little fat bitch. … Was tested by the DFSI earlier today. Give me my damn date!”

Chandler quickly responded to McGregor with his own heated comments:

“I'm not even going to respond to Conor's stupid little tweet,” Chandler remarked. “I'll pretend I let it slip. The fact is, you are the most unreliable human being to ever appear in mixed martial arts.”

Chandler returned to McGregor after outlining his lightweight title ambitions:

“If Conor can finally get his house in order,” Chandler continued. “If he can finally get a few days sober… And he can finally make good on his promise of the greatest comeback in combat sports history… Then I will fight Conor after I beat Charles Oliveira.”

Ironically, the feud between Chandler and McGregor is only at its most heated and exciting when it is announced that the fight is being postponed or canceled.
