Seville And Getafe will both be looking to claim their first wins of the 2024–25 season when they face each other in La Liga action on Saturday.

The hosts are languishing in 19th place with two points, ahead of the guests, who are one point better and in 16th place.

Sevilla coach Garcia Pepper had a difficult start at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan after his side picked up just two points from their first four La Liga games.

Garcia Pimienta began his tenure with a 2-2 draw against his former employers Las Palmas, before watching his side concede a goal in injury time and lose 2-1 at home to Villarreal.

After a frustrating goalless draw with Mallorca, Sevilla lost 2-0 at home to Girona in their last game. Garcia Pimienta therefore went into the international break without a win and with his team in the relegation zone.

Despite only being four games old in the season, the Sevilla head coach is already under pressure to turn things around for the better, and his side will certainly be expected to perform well in their next three winnable games against Getafe, Alaves and Real Valladolid.

Garcia Pimienta has only faced Getafe twice in his coaching career, with his team Las Palmas taking four points from the Azulones in the 2023–24 season thanks to a 2–0 home win and a 3–3 away draw.

Getafe are undefeated this season but are still waiting for their first win after three draws in their first games.

José Bordalas His side held Athletic Bilbao to a hard-fought 1-1 draw at San Mames before remaining goalless in their first home game against Rayo Vallecano.

The Azulones again achieved a goalless result in their last game before the international break against Real Sociedad, keeping two consecutive clean sheets in La Liga for the first time since December 2023.

After the international break, Getafe now prepare for two away trips to Seville. The Azulones face Sevilla at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan on Saturday before returning to the Andalusian capital to face Real Betis on Wednesday.

Saturday's visitors will fondly remember their last trip to the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan in December 2023, when they produced a goal-rich performance to secure a convincing 3-0 win.

Defender of Seville Loic Bade was ruled out due to a thigh injury sustained during an international match for France.

In addition to the central defender, the absentee list also includes Albert Sambi Lokonga And Susowho are out with thigh or knee injuries.

Saul Niguez is still not available for selection as the midfielder has to serve the second game of a two-game suspension.
