Chelsea vs Bournemouth confirmed line-up | News | Official Site

Renato Veiga is expected to make his first Premier League appearance for Chelsea after being included in the Blues' starting line-up for today's match against AFC Bournemouth.

Head coach Enzo Maresca made two changes to the team that faced Crystal Palace before the international break.

Axel Disasi has replaced Malo Gusto, who had to withdraw from the French U21 squad following his injury sustained in the match against Palace.

And Veiga, who has started both Conference League games so far, is likely to make his first Premier League start since joining from FC Basel in the summer, where he came on as a substitute for Enzo Fernandez.

Robert Sanchez retains his place as our goalkeeper and apart from Disasi, it is the same defence that started all three Premier League games, with Wesley Fofana, Levi Colwill and Marc Cucurella also in the mix.

Veiga is expected to start alongside Moises Caicedo in midfield, with Cole Palmer in a more advanced position and Noni Madueke and Pedro Neto on the wings.

Nicolas Jackson, who has just signed a two-year contract extension, will once again lead the attacking line, and on the bench will be Jadon Sancho, who was signed on deadline day.
