Teenager dead after motorcycle accident in South Bibb

BIBB COUNTY, Georgia – A teenager is dead after a motorcycle crash in south Bibb, Coroner Leon Jones said.

Jones said Christopher Allen Jr., 19, was riding his motorcycle on Jones Road around 12:45 a.m. Saturday. He said Allen's motorcycle crashed into the side of a pickup truck at the intersection of Jones Road and School Road.

The coroner said Allen was taken to a trauma center in Macon, where he was pronounced dead around 1:45 p.m. Next of kin have been notified.

The accident is currently under investigation. This is a developing story. 13WMAZ will update this story as more information becomes available.
