Injuries reported after accident in Canyon County

CANYON COUNTY, Idaho (CBS2) – Idaho State Police are investigating a four-vehicle crash.

It happened at 11:19 a.m. Saturday morning at the intersection of Lake Shore Dr and Pump Rd in Canyon County.

According to ISP, a 2015 Honda Accord was traveling eastbound on Lake Shore Dr. According to police, a group of motorcycles were traveling westbound on Lake Shore Dr when a white 2003 Harley-Davidson motorcycle attempted to catch up with the other motorcyclists. The motorcycle crossed into the eastbound lane and sideswiped the Honda Accord. The driver of the Honda Accord crossed into the westbound lane and struck a maroon 2010 Victory motorcycle head-on. A black 2023 Can-AM Ryker, driven by a 49-year-old from Nampa, then struck the Honda Accord. All vehicles came to a stop at the intersection of Lake Shore Dr and Pump Rd.

The driver of the Accord, a 47-year-old woman from Highlands, California, was wearing a seat belt. The driver of the Victory motorcycle, a 33-year-old woman from North Platte, Nebraska, was taken to a hospital by air ambulance. The driver of the Harley Davidson, a 34-year-old woman from Boise, was taken to a hospital by ambulance.

The intersection was closed for about three hours.

This incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
