Triple H was ahead of his time, I go on the field with enormous pride for him

WWE is led by Nick Khan and the King of Kings, Triple H. It has been over two years since Triple H was promoted to Chief Creative Officer and Chief Content Officer. Recently, current WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes shared his thoughts on the 14-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

ESPN interviewed Rhodes for a feature on the 15 most influential people in boxing, MMA and wrestling. Triple H made the list at number 5 and Rhodes shared his thoughts on Triple H and how he has evolved professional wrestling.

“Triple H had the instincts of a world champion in the ring long before his time,” WWE Champion Cody Rhodes told ESPN. “Today, he uses those instincts expertly as Chief Content Officer. He was also one of a handful of players who were ahead of their time in terms of advancing the sport, which he proved with the black and gold era of NXT.”

The American Nightmare also mentioned that Triple H played a major role in WWE's immense success after Nick Khan and The King of Kings took over. Cody Rhodes also mentioned that Triple H helped the promotion gain huge ratings and fans started engaging more on social media.

“When the moment came for him to take over the reins with Nick Khan and run the ship creatively, he helped WWE achieve tremendous ratings and a surge in community engagement,” Rhodes said. “I walk out on the field with tremendous pride for him.”

Is the Paul Levesque era the best era of professional wrestling?
