Police officer and civilian injured in accident in Scottsdale

SCOTTSDALE, Arizona – Two people, including a police officer, were hospitalized following a crash in north Scottsdale, according to Scottsdale police.

The SPD told 12News that the accident occurred around 8:45 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Pima Road and Jomax Road.

A total of two cars were involved in the accident and two people, a police officer and a civilian, were taken to hospital.

The officer was taken to hospital as a precaution and is expected to recover.

The identities of the people involved in this accident have not been established and no further details about the accident have been released.
