49-year-old murder prosecutor in court over Hafod's death

A 27-year-old man was paid his last respects and died after being found with serious injuries.

Joshua Norman's family described him as “a beautiful person whose smile and sense of humor would light up any room and any heart.”

He died after being found in Cwm Road, Hafod, Swansea, on Wednesday.

A 49-year-old man appeared before the city's district court on Saturday, was charged with murder and remanded in custody.

He is due to appear at Swansea Crown Court on Monday.

A 31-year-old man who was also arrested in connection with the incident was released on bail.

Two other men, aged around 30, who were also arrested, were released following investigations by South Wales Police.

Mr Norman's family said he was a “loving son, father, brother and uncle who cared deeply for his whole family”.

“We will miss him terribly,” a statement said.
